Plot: Watanuki is a high school student who is haunted by the fact that he can see ghosts. One day he stumbles into a shop owned by a mysterious woman named Yuko who sells wishes- for a price of course. Watanuki asks Yuko to grant his wish of freedom from the hunting visions of ghosts and spirits. Yuko agrees but in return Wananuki must work for her as a part-time employee to pay off his wish. Yuko's shop is frequented by many different people and spirits seeking out their heart's deepest desires. Thus begins a journey into the spirit world that Watanuki is completely unprepared for. Luckily he will have some help along the way- even when he doesn't want it.

Plot: Music academe student, Shinichi Chiaki has an impressive musical talent, and arrogance to match. His dream is to become a conductor in Europe. Unfortunately, he's deathly afraid of flying and his lofty plans remain grounded. After Shinichi and his teacher get into a fight he's transfered to the reject class. Feeling dejected, and thinking of giving up music all together, Shinichi seeks comfort from his ex girlfriend who wastes no time in calling him a loser. Poor Shinichi makes his way home after having drunk too much and he passes out in front of his neighbor's door. Little does he know... his neighbor is a girl from his music school named Noda. She can't cook or keep her room clean, she can't read music, but she attaches herself to Shinichi after he mentors her in playing the piano. Shinichi doesn't know what he's gotten himself into... Noda is quite the oddball, and polar opposite of himself.

Plot: Shigeta is an attractive young Japanese woman lookin' for love in all the wrong places. She wants a boyfriend a.s.a.p but she doesn't have the patience to get to know someone first. At the age of 25, she's searching for true love, but her true love had better be drop dead sexy. As she goes from one crush to another, on her fast-paced mission for love, she never seems to realize how shallow her idea of love truly is. At the age of 25, she feels like her time is running out. A Sex in the City, or Bridget's Diary -type story.

Plot: Shinjyurou is an embalmer, which is considered an unclean and profane profession in Japan- unlike the way it's viewed in America. Because of this, Shinjyuro has become somewhat of an outcast in his home country of Japan. To him, embalming is simply a job, but one he views as a way to help give closure to those who are left behind to mourn for their loved ones. His way of coping with literally having to look death in the face every day is by sleeping around with beautiful women, much to the gall of his landlord's daughter. She aims to uncover the secrets of Shinjyurou's past, and why did he decide to become an embalmer in Japan, of all places?

Plot: Sumire, a successful business woman is feeling down in the dumps after being demoted at work. Not only that but she's also fed up with dating mediocre men after being dumped by her fiance for his pregnant mistress. To top it all she finds a homeless guy living in a box by her house. As a joke to offers to take him in as her pet, in exchange for giving him a place to live. Much to her surprise he readily agrees. Sumire decides to keep him, because well... he is awfully cute. She names him Momo, after the dog she had as a child. Sumire then sets out on a quest to find the perfect man who fits into her three qualifications: higher pay, higher education, and higher height. This task might be easier than she thinks when her long lost love enters the picture. It seems as though Momo doesn't have a chance but how can he complain when he gets warm baths and octopus hot-dogs out of the deal?

Plot: Takemoto is a sophomore attending an art college in Toyko. He lives in a tiny apartment complex with a few of his other classmates. Even with their cramped living conditions, and no money, Takemoto and his somewhat crazy friends try to make the best of their situation. Things only seem to get better when his art teacher introduces him to a cute freshman named Hagumi. She's an overly shy, child-like girl, with an amazing artistic talent. Takemoto soon develops feelings for the light-hearted Hagumi... but he's not the only one.
